The Demokritas Taverna is the longest established taverna in Kato Pathos. Demokritos is also one of the busiest restaurants in Kato Pathos as it features live traditional greek cypriot music and dancing. A speciality is the glass balancing act performed where a column of glasses is placed one by one on the head of a greek cypriot dancer with the aid of step-ladders.
